What Drives Our Approach
Relaxed Horses was founded on the belief that quality training does not begin in the saddle, but with mutual trust between human and horse. After more than twenty years of working with horses, we wanted to create a training system that combines practical experience with respect for each horse as a unique individual.
Our many years of experience with breaking in, training, and retraining have shown us that there is no single “right” method. That’s why we select from proven approaches what will truly help each specific horse.

Our goal is not merely to create an obedient horse. We want the rider and the horse to form a functional partnership based on mutual trust and understanding. We believe that this kind of relationship leads to safer training, better results, and greater joy in working together.

We focus on systematic training in which the horse understands what is expected of it, gains confidence, and builds trust in the rider. This creates a solid foundation for both competitive and recreational riding.

How do we train horses here?
Our collaboration begins when you contact us by phone, email, or through the contact form.
We will then get to know your horse personally and propose a suitable training plan based on its experience, temperament, and future use. Training takes place in South Bohemia, near České Budějovice.
Before training begins, the horse must have a valid test result for equine infectious anemia (IAE), be vaccinated against influenza, and have its teeth treated. If necessary, we can order a dental examination or X-ray for the client at our facility.
Throughout the training process, we’ll keep you regularly updated on its progress, discuss next steps, and monitor your horse’s progress together.
What services do we offer?
We specialize primarily in training young horses – from their initial socialization through high-quality basic training for both competitive and recreational use.
We also focus on retraining horses, addressing specific issues, and preparing horses for the hippotherapy certification exam.

What experience do the trainers have?
Our team consists of experienced trainers with more than 20 years of experience in horse training. In addition to our many years of experience, we also emphasize ongoing education and keeping up with modern methods so that we can offer each horse the most appropriate approach.
